On May 26, 2023, the Tawfiq Foundation for Education and Development Organized a Lecture and Scientific Symposium under the theme: “The Role of Tribal Elders in Achieving Social Peace.” The event aimed to highlight the Pivotal role of Tribal Leaders and Clan Elders in Promoting Security, Trust-building, and Conflict Resolution within Communities through Peaceful and Traditional Means.

The Symposium brought together a diverse Group of Prominent Participants, Including Intellectuals, Peace and Development Advocates, and Respected tribal elders. Attendees engaged in thoughtful discussions, Sharing Insights and Experiences that Emphasized the Importance of Traditional Leadership in Fostering harmony and understanding.

The event was met with active and Positive Engagement from the Audience. In its Conclusion, Speakers and Participants Stressed the Importance of Empowering Tribal Elders and Equipping them with the Necessary tools and Support to Enhance their Role in Peace building and Strengthening Social Cohesion.

On September 24, 2022, the Tawfiq Foundation for Education and Development Organized a Training Course for Teachers at Qur’an Memorization Schools in Abudwak City. The Primary Objective of the Training was to Enhance the Teaching Skills and broaden the Knowledge of Qur’an Instructors, Contributing to Improved Educational Quality in the Region.

The three-day Training brought together Approximately 50 teachers, who Participated in Various Interactive Sessions designed to build Capacity in Teaching Methodology, Classroom Management, and Student Engagement.

This Initiative Reflects the Foundation’s Commitment to Supporting Quality Education and Empowering Educators with the tools they need to Effectively Nurture the next Generation.

OOn the evening of Friday, September 3, 2022, the Tawfiq Foundation for Education and Development was officially Inaugurated in Abudwak City, Galgudud region. The Foundation is a Charitable, non-profit, and non-Governmental Organization Committed to advancing Education and Social Development in the Community.

The Inauguration Ceremony was graced by a wide range of distinguished guests, Including Community Elders, Local leaders, Government Officials, Members of Parliament, and Ministers from the Galmudug State Government.

During the event, attendees Expressed their Enthusiasm and Support for the Foundation, Highlighting the Importance of such an Initiative in Fostering Educational Growth and Sustainable Development in the Region. The Launch of Tawfiq Foundation was warmly received as a vital Step toward addressing the Social and Educational needs of the Community .
