Tawfiq Foundation for Education and Development (TFED) is a local, non-Governmental, and non-profit Organization. The Idea of Establishing the Foundation was initiated on 08/07/2022 by Sheikh Hussein Ibrahim Ahmednur, Whose Initiative Received broad Support from Intellectuals who Recognized the urgent need for an Organization Committed to Promoting Education, fostering Community Development, and Supporting Vulnerable Groups in need.

The Foundation is Officially Registered with the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Republic of Somalia under Registration number MoIFAR/NGOD/0440. It also holds Official Recognition from the State Governments of Jubaland and Galmudug, both under the Federal Government of Somalia.
